What to Expect at New Light Anglican Riverstone
Every service is a little different, with it’s own tastes and styles but there are some things that are common across all services.
This church guide will let you know what to expect if you attend a church service with us.
Get ready to sing!
Well, there’s no pressure for you to sing, but we do, and we love it. Our services kick off and end with vibrant music led by our gifted teams. We strive to keep it engaging, uplifting, and a true community experience.
Prayer
We are a church who values dependence on God for everything. We thank him and bring our requests to him.
You will not be asked to pray out loud but we warmly welcome you to join us in quiet reflection as we lead people in prayer.
Small elements of prayer are spread throughout our services including a time where a member of our Church will lead us by praying from the platform.
Bible-centred teaching
We preach, teach and proclaim Jesus. We believe true and eternal life only comes through him and want to connect people into Jesus and His Church.
We believe the best way to know Jesus is through his word the bible, so we read the bible and teach from it.
Messages last about 30 minutes.
Some recent services
As a small Church, we don’t always nail our livestream, but these services should give you a taste of what a typical church service looks like.
Kids & Youth Church
Looking for a fun and engaging way to help your kids explore faith? Our 10am Sunday Service offers amazing kids & youth programs. We call them Kids Church & Youth Church.
