Stem Studio – Kids tech activities

An event for a young person in Years 3 to Year 8 at School. Enjoy a technology learning environment supported by a great team.
Learn coding concepts, play with bots and gadgets and other STEM activities.

YOU MUST BRING A LAPTOP
Only a basic laptop is required. Some activities will be though a simple web browser. It could be benefitial if some small light weight programs could be installed to enhance the experience.

CHILD SUPERVISION
A supervising adult must attend the entire event with their child.
Our team will facilitate the program and help attendees with the project of their choice, however, we will not have a team to supervise any children and an adult must be in attendance.

FOR THE ADULTS
Adults can enjoy a coffee from our team barista, have a chat with some of the other parents and team members or spend time alongside their child and learn together (or at least try to keep up).

BEHAVIOUR EXPECTATIONS
We set ourselves high standards and expect that the children attending behave in accordance: treating others, personal property and facilities with respect; listening to and following instructions from our team. Swearing, abusive language, aggressive behaviour or violence will not be tolerated. Any failure to comply with these conditions will result in children being asked to leave. Any damage to other persons property/technology will require that family to pay for necessary repairs/replacement
