Looking for a fun and engaging way to spend your Sunday mornings? Look no further than our K-5 program!
We offer a jam-packed program filled with:
- Upbeat music to get your toes tapping.
- Creative crafts to unleash your inner artist.
- Captivating stories that bring the Bible to life.
- Exciting games to make new friends and have a blast.
Our program takes place in two locations:
- Our historic chapel transforms into a kids learning area during our 10am service.
- The grassy area in front of the church for outdoor fun and games (weather permitting).
Join us every Sunday at 10am! Plus, on every second week, you’ll even get to sing along with the adults during the final two songs of the church service.

Next Gen Sundays
Each term youth are involved in the Church service. Grow in skills of leadership, music, production and find your place in our intergenerational Church family.
Our friendly welcoming team will help you register when you arrive, introduce you to the youth Church leaders and tell you everything you need to know.
Youth Church walks down 30 Railway Terrace, the girl guide hall. Carers must fill out a registration form to give permission for youth to go off the Church site to this venue.

Our spaces are kid friendly and safe. We have fences to keep children away from the driveway and road. Our under 5 year old program has a dedicated kids space. We try to impliment every reasonable safety measure we can.
All our kids leaders, our Church leadership and our Church board are trained in a manditory safe ministry program to ensure vigilance and safety when it comes to children. We adhere to all government requirements for children’s programs, including implimenting all the recommendations from the royal commission into children’s safety. We work hard at creating a secure and nurturing environment for your kids.
Yes, we welcome children from all backgrounds and cultures. Our programs are designed to be inclusive and celebrate diversity the way Jesus taught us to. We aim to create a space where every child feels valued and supported. Our area is becoming more and more multicultural with people migrants from all over the world, and particularly from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Our programs seek to be a welcoming space for everyone.
We have programs for children aged 0-14, divided into three main groups: Under 5s, Kindy to Year 5s, and Youth (Years 6-8). Each program is tailored to the specific developmental needs of the children in that age group.
Yes, we offer child minding for young children during our 10am Sunday service. We also have a quiet Parents Lounge, a dedicated space for nursing parents and infants equipped with toys, a baby bouncer, and a live stream of the service.
There is no need to register before you arrive at Church. We provide all registration forms on arrival that do need to be filled out before your child can enter the program.
Yes. It is completely up to you. If you and your children are more comfortable staying in Church together, you are welcome to do that. We have a small gift pack for Children that includes some coloring-in and a puzzle to help through the longer parts of the service.
No. All Sunday kids programs are free. Church is member organisation, which means people who attend the Church give towards the work of the Church. This enables us to run everything we do.
Yes. Our kids program is headed up by a qualified and experienced children’s educator. Many of our volunteers are full time school teachers and child care workers. All our volunteers are trained in child safe practices.
The Under 5s and Kindy to Year 5s programs are held at New Light Anglican Church in Riverstone. The Youth program meets at the girl guide hall at 30 Railway Terrace.
There is no need to bring anything. You are welcome to bring a drink bottle. Kids are not outside for very long, and the play area is mostly shaded by trees, so hats are not essential. Kids and adults join together for morning tea so you can monitor what food your child has access to. Our under 5s program kids the children a biscuit which is specified on the registration form.
Yes, we have special events like family church services with puppets, songs, multimedia, and live art. These events provide opportunities for families to connect and enjoy worship together.
